Sunday Night:Uncle Sugar 

Uncle Sugar: Perform as four-piece, Uncle Sugar is in reality a five-piece band, they rotate two bass players. They perform electric and do acoustic nights monthly. Their music consists of seriously tasty blues, but their versatility allows them to also deliver familiar selections of classic Soul, R&B, rock and country. The band also plays a collection of their original songs which have become local favorites. Larry Griffith (percussion/vocals/acoustic guitar) comes to us by way of Cincinnati, Ohio. Stephen Talkovich (lead guitar) comes to us from Grand Marais, Minnesota. John Schwenke (bass/vocals) comes to us from New York City. Ross Pead (Slide guitar/vocals) comes to us from a trailer park in Waycross, Georgia. Franher Joseph (bass guitar/vocals) comes to us from a Brooklyn, NY. 

Although from diverse backgrounds, locations and time periods, Uncle Sugar has a chemistry that meets on the same plane every Sunday night.  With light-hearted personalities, unbeatable work ethics and a genuine love for their craft, Uncle Sugar is a must-see for anyone living, perhaps just stopping through the Atlanta area. Monday Night: Northside Tavern Jam with Lola 

Lola Gulley is a dynamic blues and R&B singer/keyboard player who has been igniting stages in Atlanta and has tour nationally and internationally.Blessed with a deep soul voice, a funkified keyboard style and an intense, high energy stage presence, Lola combines traditional blues with hard-edged R&B to create her own brand of contemporary, tough music.

TUESDAY NIGHT: SWAMI GONE BANANAS: Swami Gone Bananas are Atlanta's "Good Times Icons" for the last 20 years…..Rock-Jam K-i-n-d music since 1995. Swami, Tommy "Gato Mathi" Dean, Jerry "Scout" Sorn, Richard "Gone Fishin" Hurt, and J.R. "Your Friendly Drummer”Hawkins. A flashback experience! Swami Gone Bananas has proven to be the city's finest and most watched 'cover' band. Even though they do many of their own songs, Swami still likes to call them a cover group. Swami (founder Mike Schulman) formed this band after friend and Grateful Dead founder Jerry Garcia transitioned in 1995. Swami was (in 1995) and still is a graphic designer for the Dead with over 100 T-Shirt and stage pass designs. Swami always said that the Grateful Dead were the best cover group of all time. Swami Gone Bananas moved to Atlanta's famous Northside Tavern. With years of performances in the Tavern under their belt, Swami Gone Bananas continues to be Atlanta's "Good Times Icons'.



Wednesday Night: Eddie 9V

Eddie 9V (pronounced Eddie 9-Volt) has made a name for himself in the blues scene in the south, wowing all types of audiences with his searing Freddie King-style approach to guitar. An "old soul" at the tender age of 23, Eddie has played clubs and festivals throughout the region. For fans of Magic Sam, Buddy Guy, and Otis Rush. Check out Eddie 9V’s debut album “Left My Soul in Memphis”. 

Thursday Night: The Breeze Kings 

Formed on a Thursday night at the Northside Tavern in 1997 and are now one of the busiest and most respected bands in the Atlanta music scene. Their many accolades include being TEN time winners of Creative Loafing’s Best Blues Band in Atlanta award and a top 10 finish at the 2005 International Blues Contest inMemphisTN.Their ‘dance floor filling’ music is an exciting and authentic blend of 50’s and 60’s era Chicago and Delta blues styles and is sure to impress both blues purists and those new to the genre.
